When?

What is your preferred time for a PaSaRyu workout at home?
I've always preferred going outside after dark, sometimes very late.
Lately I've enjoyed a few morning forms a couple of days a week. (Kind of sets the tone for the day).

Because I am at the school most days in the week, I do the majority of my practicing there. However, I do like the morning sessions outside when the sun is shining and try to get out whenever I have time. You're right, it does set a good tone for the day.

Anytime that I can get a workout done is a good time. Every time of day seems to have some pros and cons. The morning sessions have fewer interruptions, there just aren’t that many folks that drop by or call me at 5 a.m., I have it done and don’t have to worry about how to work it in later. My flexibility and cardiovascular endurance don’t seem to be as high then, and it is soooooo hard to get up that early.

My body seems better suited for the mid or late afternoon when I get home from work, my job is not physically challenging, so a good workout seems to “balance me out” . But afternoon or evening sessions seem to have a lot of interruptions, at least in my life, and almost anything will mess them up, a meeting after work, unexpected guests, a list of honey-do’s, etc, etc. and if I miss a couple of days of workouts, I get positively CRANKY, I don’t even like myself!

Late at night messes with my sleep, the workout gets me wired up and I can’t seem to unwind and rest well, but there is certainly something to be said for Kata by moonlight, or barefoot basics in the snow.
