Checking in

Well We survived the trip and are settling in here. It all seems real nice.
I have set up some strength training equipment, but have not resumed any type of training yet.
Having that class and a gym to go to every day for the past 20 years or so was a big motivator and always something to look forward to. It will be a challenge to get going on our own, but I am getting prett itchy to resume somehow.
Hope everyone is well...SUN!

SUN! That's great. Motivation and purpose always are the key are they not? You have a lot of both!

Master Hawk, if I can share this experience. You know how my schedule works but this has really helped me lately. Albeit not so much with motivation,(we're all somehow gifted as long as we light the fire) but being away from training, even for just a day, really stiffens some joints when I am traveling. We won't even talk about memory. But, I wake up, drink 2 glasses of water, chew on three fennel seeds and pick my form and fly. 5 minutes are all I need to get the sweat and heart flowing anywhere I am visiting. Motivation becomes a moot issue. Then,(enthusiastically) if time permits, I find or track down an area MA's locale. Plunk down the daily fee, sometimes free if you chat with someone about our form and I've never had trouble finding a teacher or partner, for that day. An hour or so later I usually end up late but my excuse is sincerely permissible and I've chatted with someone about our MA style!

Heck, who wouldn't want to have you as a visitor! We're all(MA styles) in this together anyways, right? Would I be wrong in saying that even if you or I were to wear a white belt for a day, would be truthful since we are all-belts-in-one? (all, meaning achieved)

SUN!
