Recover from an Ankle Injury

I rolled an ankle a couple weeks ago - helping push the neighbors car out of the ditch. The RICE technique is outstanding but what else can help speed up recovery - and help avoid missing a class?
Any ancient secrets out there?

RICE ACRONYM:
R - Rest
I - Ice
C - Compression
E - Elevation

Mr. Falcon,
get the book "kinesio taping perfect" manual and some kinesio tape. Follow instructions to the letter and will help immensely. Our patients have given us great feed back on these methods.

I think I'll pick up that book. I'm sure my boys will benefit from that too as they grow older.
