The Changing of the Guard

I would like to announce that on October 20th 2011, Mr. Matt Dowds will officially take over as chief instuctor at Central WI Martial Arts. I have absolutely no doubt that he will be a total success and the program will flourish under his guidance. Please join me in extending my congratulations to him and his beautiful family.

I would also like to extend my sincere gratitude to all the wonderful people I've had the honor of calling my students over the past 15 years or so. I really had a great time.

I look forward to remaining in close contact with everyone and will be remaining in close contact with Mr. Dowds and the instructor committee.

My next goal is to establish PSR in the Southeast and I will begin to work on that within the near future.

Congratulations Mr
Dowds.I'm sure our style will progress in your capable hands. Don't hesitate to call or e mail if I may be of any assistance.

Master Hawk, The Southeast needs you. I was in Knoxville over the weekend.
So what's another 100 miles or so.

Thank you Master Hawk.

What makes the PaSaRyu Martial Art special in its continued evolution is directly attributed to Master Instructors like yourself. The community of mentors, leaders, technicians, and friends that you Master(s) have fostered is what makes this “thing we do” special. I look forward to carrying on what you have created here in Central Wisconsin. I do this with all the excitement this new adventure includes as well as with the sadness that I will miss my teacher and friend.

The best I and all the students at CWMAI can do is to honor the principles, dedication, and SUN you taught us by living it and not just saying it. I look forward to visiting the Southeast PSR school as soon as you are ready.

With all respects,

Your student – Mr. Dragon

Master Hawk, a big personal THANK YOU! You have been a great partner-mentor in my life, and beyond, and your friendship has been a true treasure. The first steps are always the hardest, but I trust that you will have an open warm dojo on the beach for us "visiting students" from the north! Actually, I am very excited for you and your family!

And, as for Mr. Dowds and family, I sincerely wish you the best!
